Tara School of Irish Dancing

The Tara School of Irish Dancing was established in Kamloops in 1997 under the direction of Jackie Mullen.   Dancers are taught both soft shoe and hard shoe steps in solo dancing and will also learn choreographies in teams.

The Tara School of Irish Dancing offers classes in traditional and contemporary Irish Dancing to students aged 6 years to adult. Classes are conducted in an encouraging and supportive atmosphere, while challenging dancers to work hard and progress to the best of their ability. With a community performance focus, dancers develop confidence and self-esteem, and above all are encouraged to dance for the joy of dancing!
